As of now, it seems u can only decompose them for cubits and there doesn't seem to be much use of the extras unless in future they introduce a converter to convert these modules into advanced ones.

while you have 5 slots to store similar modules - just keep them. as Thatzme said probably in the future they introduce some converters

The chips for modules were available for a few days during a few events. They will probably be available again in future events.
If you didn't take advantage of the previous events to get all the modules just wait till there will be new events that give chips

How do we use the trident brand capacitors?

They are a substitute for credits when you attempt to adjust a module but have no more free tries.
I do not think (not going to try to find out) they will substitute for credits when you are adjusting a module with one or more locked attributes (1000+ credits per try)
