Primus Invasion - What is your Strategy (except playing both rounds)?

Some players don't bother with Primus Invasion as the rewards are not good enough or they simply can only play round 2 (as they are in Europe and sleep during the night, as such can't play first round). In my opinion Tap4Fun should change how Primus Invasion is done, and open it up earlier to allow all players to be able to somehow play both rounds. Anyhow as I see some benefit in doing Primus Invasion I would also like to get how you are doing? How do you play and do you get the results you want?

What I have in mind is do you use a specific formation? Or do you use your PvP fleet, or your Primus fleet? Do you have a certain route in terms of the planets you try to be on for each wave? Yes, I know Android and iOS are not the same, and I play on iOS with the goal to find out what each planet gets as wave fleet from Primus Invasion. Why I do that is to see what would actually give you the best chance in scoring high on damage (meaning killing some true Primus, not the normal class chip fleets).

Essential to score high is to play both rounds if else you will only be able to be within Top 600, but not easily make Top 60 or higher per my experience.

To start, I am using my PvP fleet but I make sure that Louise is firing first to provide the statis protection and that Caroline is not getting killed on first attacks.

I play second round, only, and just send my PvP fleet every Tuesday to Friday morning to an arbitrary node. In most cases this gives me a free Pandora Power Core next day and it takes only some seconds effort.

The reason I like Primus Invasion is the Primus Invasion Pack that will give randomly an amount of R6 or R7 chromas. Recently when using those I saved up it gave me 5x Chroma R7's. This I want more as that leads to a dual R7. :-)

In a sense, the opening of Primus Invasion (and having invisible fleets revealed) with revised rewards had made collection of galactonite stones & Pandora power cores another daily task, that if one keeps at it will, allow a player to patiently level up on a credit free basis - which is a good thing.

Having Primus Invasion time that also caters to the normal waking hours of Europeans would be good as this will balance the fairness and encourage their participation and keep the parity of those who are able to get rewards more even.

Primus Invasion results highly depends on ones' fleet and force, and the ability / willingness to play both sessions.

My first strategy (when I could not survive even against multiple waves of Escort fleets) was

    1) do as much damage, kill as many as possible in quickest in the time, and survive with as little damage against Escort fleets first
    2) take as little damage as possible, as many commanders alive as possible, survive as long as possible as long through multiple escort waves to meet Primus
    3) travel as little as possible and stay on station (since it takes time to revive and travel (even with a jump) to a node with a battle and wait in queue until own fleet does battle)
    4) Hope i can kill Primus before Primus kills me and do as much damage before I die

And so because of (1) & (2) I use my PvP fleet. My PvP fleet has evolved but in general, due to principle (1), I use as many cross attackers or commanders that do damage to as many opposition ships as reasonably possible without comprising (2). This serves well to as a Pandora fleet composition. For (2) I found a dodgy fleet better than a blocky fleet. Even though for Primus Invasion invisible fleets are revealed I think it does help other commanders survive longer. Blocky fleets help too, as third factor.

Due to (3) I go to the planet with the least waves with Primus (I jump ML05 on iOS). This may or may not be true but I find my fleet stays alive longest at this node. In this sense I am well timed, because I am awake for the first session.

Another thing about ML05 is that there are waves in which no Invasion fleets attack it. So one has to decided if staying alive and in the queue is worth it. Since i don't usually monitor in real time what's happening and still make the top 600 and didn't make it to the next tier, I am fine with it.

If I am able to watch the waves as they come (Primus Invasion happens during my work and dinner time), I will do (4).

And when Primus comes to the planet I am on, I switch over to Primus optimised fleet and hope that it is good enough meet a Primus and do as much damage during that fight before dying. This doesn't happen all the time due to it being my work & dinner time, I generally just go into the game about 10-15 minutes to check if I am dead and send it to a node again.

If the commanders I use could deaccumulate or freeze while they shoot special, better still, so that my fleet could potentially have a longer time fighting Primus for (4). But one as to decide if using a older locker or deaccumulate is worth the loss in damage that can be done to the opposing fleet.

My second strategy, when I could survive even against multiple waves of Escort fleets and die fighting Primus was switch to a node to get a chance at fighting Primus. The reason was when I was at node ML05 while other planets are fighting Primus waves, other players are killing and doing more damage and rising on the kill & damage leadership board. I found that in the if I was not as high ranked as as when i at planet ML05 I will switched back to ML05. Develop my fleet more and try a node with more Primus waves again later. Until I am higher rank on the damage board. Damage board because that's where the Pandora power cores.

I do not paint coats level 2 because I reserve my full set of paint coats level 2 for the day I am defending the ruling star during Pandora.

I also do not use paint coats level 1 even though I could.

Because I don't not monitor Primus Invasion in real time, I do not pay for jumps because the 3 free jumps is usually enough for the first session. Dinner time I do not even bother monitoring unless I am alone.

Personally, i prefer to set up an alarm clock for the middle of the night (first session) and to send the regular PvP fleet to a node. It is enough to secure a place in top 2500 both boards, so i don't bother more than that with invasion

How is the invisible removal handled? Is it an invisible trickster lieutenant? Does accumulator removal stop the effect?

The remove invisibility doesn't seem to be a lieutenant skill and deaccumulation doesn't seem to stop it. Although on the deaccumulation part I currently have Knous as my deaccumulator so it the chance of it happening form my observation to be sure for certain (most battles don't last more than 3 rounds)

What is the time of PVP events in Europe, since I have't bothered to play it so much.
Every time I stationed my fleet at ML05, it did nothing..!

In GMT +2 time zone it has to be 03:00 and 15:00
For GMT +3 time zone it is 04:00 and 16:00, accordingly.
From my experience sending the fleet to ML005 during daytime session (13:00 server time) is not enough to score reasonable.
Try to wake up in the middle of the night
