    Post Alfred 400% SATK calculation bug \ game mechanic

    Hi All, look this.

    The Battle between two fleets, viewed moment in the battle (time 1.13). Alfred did 400% SATK with only 88 damage. How it can be? A say it. First of all 400% SATK with my Second lvl Paintcoats (+50% ATK\SATK) have a GREAT damage (the biggest damage of all existing officers in the game). But what we have? Only - 88 damage, even with S-DEF getting Geoffrey from lt Acctan it is impossible.

    We have no 400% SATK but 100% + 100% + 100% + 100% = 400% SATK! In other words Alfred mathematic is (100% SATK - SDEF of target) + (100% SATK - SDEF of target) + (100% SATK - SDEF of target) + (100% SATK - SDEF of target) = 22dmg + 22dmg + 22dmg + 22dmg = 88 dmg, It does not match the description of the ship! (I deliberately simplified calculations for clarity)

    Real calculation must be: 400%SATK - SDEF of target = millions of damage (no one current SDEF of the ships can not defense against it amounts of damage).

    What game tech support will explain it? Description says "does 400%Satk" and no "100% + 100% + 100% +100% SATK"

    it is normal dmg and result is 4 x multiple. If make it like say you, it will kill everyone.

    It is NOT normal. If you try to see other SATK (110\120\150\170) they is treated as a single number without any 100+20 or 100+70... Now 400% SATK from Alfred is deception.

    you have right. But wrong description is description too.

    acctan's 20% def Lt. skill is not the same like atreid 400% special.


    result is multiple, not att, but i think acctan def is multiple.

    1st to say in Galaxy Legend commander description uses "S-ATK" as synonym for the whole special attack and commander characteristics use the same word for the S-ATK value.

    For non-Destroyer special attacks (S-ATK in the first sense) the following formula is applied:

    [(ATK + S-ATK) - (DEF + S-DEF)] × ACC × Spec Mod = Damage Dealt

    If (DEF + S-DEF) > (ATK + S-ATK) this part of the formula would become smaller than 0 resulting in negative damage. In that case the whole difference in []-braces is replaced by a small positive number as far as I know.

    Repeated Acc'tan activations result in increasing DEF value. At some point this compensates ATK + S-ATK - S-DEF completely.

    To make it more readable from the formula: You could change the upper formula to:
    (ATK + S-ATK - DEF - S-DEF) × ACC × Spec Mod = Damage Dealt

    And to:
    [(ATK + S-ATK - S-DEF) - DEF] × ACC × Spec Mod = Damage Dealt

    (ATK + S-ATK - S-DEF) is usually a large positive number as ATK and S-ATK are usually much higer than S-DEF. But if DEF increases high enough...

    I do not understand this point of your argumentation because 100% of something + 100% of the same something + 100% of again the same thing + 100% of a last time the same thing are indeed the same as 400% of something.

    I deliberately simplified the calculation formula, you can not show it to me.)) For clarity, removed unnecessary components. Those who are well versed in the game will immediately recognize what was going on.

    400% SATK is not the same 100 + 100 + 100 + 100. If you can not understand it, then we do not continue to talk about.

    400% special attack of Alfred is only multiple result of shot, not multiple S-ATK.

    it is:
    (ATK + S-ATK - DEF - S-DEF) × ACC × Spec Mod = Damage Dealt x 4

    not

    (ATK + (S-ATK x 4) - DEF - S-DEF) × ACC × Spec Mod = Damage Dealt

    hard to understand your text in every detail because I think a lot of content was twisted in translation from your native language to English probably.

    Nevertheless as imbecile as I am I understand you don't want to explain it that way that those who do not belong to "those who are well versed in the game" can follow your explanations.

    Let me just add some notes you may consider while waiting to be elucidated by those who "understand":
    - This Geoffrey is +7 or higher augmented.
    - Defensive technology and reshape seem to be well explored as he tanks several hits and initial HP of 4 ships is nearly as high as your fleet (if you are BLOOD) with 5 ships and green paint coat.
    - Acc'tan boosts DEF not S-DEF.
    - 6 Activations of Acc'tan before Alfred's special comes to an effect means 1.2^6 = 3-fold DEF.

    Alfred is not a Destroyer so cant get past DEF. Allowing a protector to get multiple stacks of Acc'tan's DEF boost with no surviving destroyer just means game over for the opponent. Even 197911 fails to win due to this protector exploit.

    So it wouldn't matter how hard Alfred hits the protectors DEF would still be higher. For every round the protector survives they get a 20% stackable boost to their DEF. So basic numbers for you:

    (HP of 100 + DEF of 100) means 200 ATK needed to kill commander. If you dont and Acc'tan activates Lieutenant skill next round (assumued 150 ATK):
    (HP of 50 + DEF of 100 + Acc'tan DEF of 20) = 170 ATK to kill...next round
    (HP of 20 + DEF of 100 + Acc'tan DEF of 40) = 160 ATK to kill...next round
    (HP of 10 + DEF of 100 + Acc'tan DEF of 60) = 170 ATK to kill...notice its going up again and now DEF exceeds ATK...next round
    (HP of 10 + DEF of 100 + Acc'tan DEF of 80) = 190 ATK to kill...next round
    (HP of 10 + DEF of 100 + Acc'tan DEF of 100) = 210 ATK to kill...now impossible to kill

    Sorry for my English. The final damage is dependent on the protection of the target and the attacker attacks. The closer these two values are the less damage when protection is greater than the damage, the damage becomes the value of about a dozen.

    Simple formula for imagine the gist:

    For SATK (ATK+SATK) - (DEF+SDEF) = dmg

    For my battle (ATK+SATK) - (DEF+SDEF) we have two directions:

    ok, and let us not forget for a better justice about my LVL2 Paintcoats for

    (ATK+50% + SATK+50%) - (DEF+20% + SDEF)

    1. It must actually be

    (ATK+50% + 400%*SATK+50%) - (DEF+20% + SDEF) = dmg

    (ATK+50% + 400%*SATK+50%) - huge damage (no one ship in this game can do this!)

    (100+50 + 4*(100+50)) - (100+20 + 100) = 750 - 220 ! These numbers are equal or close to each other? NO! To resist such damage sum of protection of target should also have a three-fold increase in the minimum.

    2. What we have in a game:

    (ATK+50% + 100%*SATK+50%) - (DEF+20% + SDEF) = (100+50 + 1*(100+50)) - (100+20 + 100) = 300 - 220

    (ATK+50% + 100%*SATK+50%) - (DEF+20% + SDEF) = (100+50 + 1*(100+50)) - (100+20 + 100) = 300 - 220

    (ATK+50% + 100%*SATK+50%) - (DEF+20% + SDEF) = (100+50 + 1*(100+50)) - (100+20 + 100) = 300 - 220

    (ATK+50% + 100%*SATK+50%) - (DEF+20% + SDEF) = (100+50 + 1*(100+50)) - (100+20 + 100) = 300 - 220

    Now attack and defense have similar values, damage is minimized. And as a result we have the following (from video)

    22 + 22 + 22 + 22 = 88 dmg

    Now you are see what is the different between 100+100+100+100 and 400 SATK dmg!
