    Galaxy Legend: Opening Moves

    * Which commander to use?
    * Which position to place?

    For every commander there is a counter commander.

    Just like a chess game, the Galaxy Legend's Opening Move will determine greatly how your fleet fares into Round 2?

    Will it remove your opponent's commanders? Or will yours be removed due to poor position?

    The shooting order of commanders is in the following order of attack. The faster fleet will shoot first, in the order of commanders in position 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> ... 8 -> 9.

    So let's start of with something easy and basic. Since Sirenne is here with a chest event, here is my formation I used in Chaos Quasar today with Incendos (useful in Iron Wall).

    From a picture of generic fleet formation, which placement of commanders will give an optimal result going into round 2.

    To help new commanders the choice of position should be given a reason (or three) so that they can learn why the choice was made.

    So post your answers, dear Galaxy Legend Commanders.

    Event rewards:
    Each participant to posts the good position will get x number of points. Each position for each commander should be justified with a reason checked by certain principles
    eg
    1. kill x commanders etc
    2. dodge a certain opposing commander.
    3. order of shooting special to give friendly fleet a bonus or protection
    4. any other good reason, etc

    After 1 week, participant with the highest points can get Huge Chess Piece "Rook"*1 ( credit*1000, tech points*50K, Cubits*3m)
    and 10 participants will be chosen randomly rewarding Chess Piece "Rook"*1 (credit*300, tech points*10K, Cubits*1m)

    Assumptions & Notes:
    1. Have first shot
    2. Your shots will kill
    3. Enemies' shots will either kill or lock
    4. Accumulators all 100% fully charged

    To counter that fleet....Incendos to position 2, fs to position 7, and Sirenne to position 6.

    Brom shoots first maybe killing fs,
    Incendes shots second killing Brom, Lance, and fs,
    enemy Sireene shoots next killing Incendos,
    Sirenne shots last killing enemy Sirenne and Frost Jr

    Only works if Jackie isnt about but is simple fs meat shield tactic

    Assuming all have acu 100+
    Incendos no1, Sirenne no5 and FS no9
    If u shoot first Incendos one shots opposing Brom Lance and Sirenne*, Frost shoots at FS possible lock(60%) or destroy, Sirenne kills his FS and Incendos cleans up at second round
    *- if sirenne survives she shots incendos and possible death code...even activation wont hurt anyone bcs diagonal positioning...the rest shouldnt bee too different
    Same formation if u shoot second bcs brom cant oneshoot incendos plus incendos has very solid dodge so he could evade attack from brom...his kross cant touch rest also bcs of diagonal positioning

    Incendos wouldnt shoot first on a 5 vs 3 even with amazing Meteors.

    As this is Chaos Quasar battle, you can assume you have first shot.

    Can still have first shot if opponent speed tech & cores not upgraded yet.

    If this was my fleet, I know that Incendos would not be fully equipped, only Gun + Kit and Sirenne would be the "Tank" so fully equipped on Sirenne due to high dodge too.

    If your fleet is fully equipped, your enemy's forces are most likely a lot higher than yours, in this situation, enemy's forces is lower meaning our fleet is not fully equipped.

    I would assume that I do not have first shot, so I would put:

    FS in Position 7 as meat shield - sacrifice.
    Sirenne in Position 3, Horizontal attack hopefully takes out Frost and enemy Sirenne.
    Incendos in Position 6, cross attack hopefully takes out Brom, Lance (unless Lance had full accum and shield) and FS.

    First round:

    -Brom shoots, FS dies.
    -Sirenne shoots, hopefully killing enemy Sirenne and Frost.
    -Lance shoots or SATK, Sirenne dodge or survives the damage
    -Incendos shoots SATK killing Brom, FS and maybe Lance depending on shield or none

    Going into the second round, Lance may be the only alive due to shield - if so, Sirenne should be able to survive the few rounds to tank and wear off Lance's shield.

    Incendos shoots opponent Frost, killing it.

    FS is in 9 and not 6, as he may get locked and not killed by Frost if he is in 6. This would then allow opponent FS to attack down the middle column, locking or killing Sirenne before Sirenne can fire. Using 1-5-9 minimizes damage taken by your fleet.

    Based on those assumptions and 100% kill, I absolutely agree with Z3

    1. Incendos, 5. Sirenne, 9. FS

    Round 1
    Incendos shoots S-ATK, killing Brom, Lance, and Sirenne (3 ships are gone)
    Use meat shield FS so Opponent Frost fires, killing or locking FS
    Sirenne fires S-ATK, killing opponent FS (4th ship is gone)

    Round 2
    Incendos kills Frost and we are done , next round please

    In chaos I have shot second before, so thats not an accurate assumption.
