Tap for fun changed Trickster's lieutenant skill description to match the implemented skill. The skill never worked according to the old English description.

My understanding of the skill is:

The skill triggers on the column of the opposing commander that is targeted by the main commander. So first a valid visible target is selected. Then the uncovering strike skill is activated on the commanders in the same column.

So if the opposing fleet uses Akhenaton and Akhenaton has put the rest of the fleet in stealth mode the attack of a Destroyer with activated Trickster [+4] skill will always hit Akhenaton. What Trickster will do is if any other commanders are in the same column as Akhenaton they will be "uncovered".

What do you think: Would the skill be better if the implementation would be changed to match the now old English description?

absolutely. Under the old description, Trickster+4 offered a valid counter to invisibility skills, with no strange caveats. It gave the impression that, if your commander would have fired at a commander that was visible, Trickster+4 activation means your commander will fire at that opponent no matter what, even if all of your opponent's ships are invisible. Under the new skill description, invisibility means you can arrange your fleet such that invisible commanders are never made visible by Trickster+4, but only by the common methods (fired a shot with no invisible turns left, or source of invisibility was killed).
    time's up.
