    Cryptor and Armoray

Hi, am just before the question whether Cryptor at all worth, especially in conjunction with krill. Somehow there was still a problem with the Block, which should be fixed.

    Have the following Commander
    Thantos (+7)
    Incendos (+5)
    Sirene (+7)
    Quasimodo (+5)
    Flag (+4)

I'd probably throw out Quasimodo and replaced by Cryptor. Weis but not if this would be useful. Then there still Armoray. Is this better than Cryptor? Aufjedenfall has enormous power boost. Armoray (+6) = 72 million Power with level 8 stones and everything built on technology and Thantos (+7) only 61 million stones with level 8 and removed everything. Have with tech more expanded than my opponent and still less power. What would you say. For quasimodoCryptor or purely Armoray

With your setup? Cryptor for certain. You already have a very resilient fleet, Cryptor would make it even more so.
As for power, it is irrelevant in the end who has more power, I've seen fleets with 80mil less power winning easy.

First off, Strikers always have relatively higher force due to the way GL calculates force where offensive stats add more force compared to other stats like defensive ones. So force should only be used as an indicator and not definitive of your advantage/disadvantage against another player. I'm sure you'd have seen cases of players with lower force between higher ones due to the fact that with the right commanders and formation you could counter a fleet of higher force.

I'm not a big fan of strikers because:
    1) They are supposed to be the offensive powerhouse with but recently seen quite a few examples of well-equipped Amoray against a well-equipped fleet and was not able to OHKO the first ship he hits with his sattack. That said, Armoray still seems to be the most viable striker as of this meta. Besides, destroyers do a better job. (limited by Jackie though)

    2) They are weak defensively with little to no block/dodge on basic stats (5% dodge on Armoray) and are usually meant for a 1-2 round impact of kill and be killed type of strategy with little means of surviving.

So, with regards to your topic strictly comparing Cryptor and Armoray, I would lean towards Cryptor and as Bogdan has mentioned, he is really resilient with the right block setup and coupled with Thantos I think you would have some fun seeing how long they last:

Check out this video by Pasha.

That said, you have a really strong fleet so not sure if you really need a new commander as of now since Tap will always release new and stronger commanders so why not build up ur dual galas or save up your credits for now.

I agree with Thatzme, Strikers would be much more interesting if they could hit on similar level as Destroyers because they do not suffer from Jackie. Then they would be a perfect second strike weapon.

As for the force value I want to add an example. If you own them just exchange a Meteor for a Tekken. Tekken gives millions of force points and Meteor just adds the speed value (several hundred). But having first strike thanks to a Meteor is much better than to apply more damage in case of a critical hit...

A player has Armory, this he has given Lvl 2 Sdef. So far, had no problem with that, even without spreads. Since Armoray but even once is a 40% Sdef, he's got almost 2x lvl2 spreads. Thantos and others have made only 22 damage. That's hard. However, had it not spreads.
Before I could even keep up without spreads well against this player with Lvl 2 chocolate spreads. not any longer longer

As you don't have any other ranger to compete with cryptor for chips I think he is a better choice, specialty with krill

So now I have Cryptor and krill and am disappointed. Now I have a Commander with more than 70% block rate, but what he does not?
He not countered by a block. Any other Commander of me does not do that and he.
This Krill is actually not used. The battery is charged not bar fast and damage that foe also no.
    Something like can not be.

It may be possible your opponent have higher penetration value than your > 70% block so that the block doesn't happen ...

If Krill's special goes off within 3 rounds from the beginning, then yes the accumulator battery and health will be back to the original 100% at the start of the battle. If Krill's special happens after more than 3 rounds battle, e.g. in round 5, then the revive will be back to round 2 (3 rounds back) which would most probably mean the health and accumulator battery is not full like at the start of the battle.

Yes Krill is definitely a wonder but at the same time if he restores you ship to a state where you had no accum that is when it backfires. More often than not though he seems to work for you more.

Although most of times krill makes you back to a worst scenario he already saved you from death 3 rounds ago. =)

It's really rare a fight where krill only do a bad job.
