Thread: [13 Nov - 18 Nov] Tactics Workshop Rewards Event -- Primus Invasion Battle Courses

Hello Guys, while i was lvl 90+ i had no problems to reach top-100 in the "Damage" contest, but recently i got lvl 100 and in the last Primus Invasion i wasnt able to enter even in the top-2000. I didnt change my fleet content.

Here is my question: Could you answer me if there exist any dependence between player lvl and the power of the opponents in the primus invasion (both primuses and supporting fleets)

If such a dependency exists then all lvls (70-80-90-100) are in equal conditions to win the R-6 cores and so on but if not it is kind of unfair to let participate lvl-60 without any chances to win anything

    Hi warriors!
My question is about galactonite. Can you give some thoughts about what stones you use for each character?
Which character benefits most from which stone?

  3. #23
Tell me which ships do you use for Primus and why?

hi all good eh .. and here a prefuntas I think many would like to know?
    definitely ...
which it is the best training fleet ... .. heroes to use primus invasion?

I personally experience the ease of killing guards on levels 97-99 .. but however when facing up to level 100 .. serious difficulties such as to say that in 99 support up to 5 waves followed and do great damage ..
at level 100 poder..soportar not given so much .. come to the conclusion that at lvl 100 fleets were more powerful and not easy to kill ..

my question to that is ..
    1. Low levels about to go to a higher level .. range plans as well as 89 or level 99 .. have better advantage of doing more damage?

said second pregunta..como higher on level 99 was easier to kill .. this I say two weeks ago ... before the inclusion of new enemies sattack .. for example the problematic destructive striker .. and that very annoying that almost killed with one stone and is more difficult to kill.,.

this is a question for general levels ..

    2. is really unsuitable go hunting and only guards acoumular damage?

I have said this two or up to 3 options ..

a.- protective hunting the player must use credit .. as protectors necessarily always find on the shores .. and no way to jump over a primus when they are way to meet .. unless .. teleport and spend many credits revive increase in power and teleport

b.- for players with low caar resources protectors is no longer so facil..dado not many are lucky to have such good teniente4s as Jacky volkof our precious fleet ...

not be better protectors attack two or three rounds and then attack only primus?

I say this because 90% of players are only going by guards ... and I experienced something eh ..

I am currently level 100 and really eh noticed a protective hunt with its new sattack .. .. that is difficult without saying that the amount of damage is only 50k - 60k unused credits or paint anything ..

but .. I try the primus fleet .. unused credits or coats..y to note that between 80k - 90k damage per round ..

Having said all this .. you recommend in general? keep in mind that not everyone has the opportunity to spend many credits weekly ..

Do you plan to do a Primus Invasion guide?
I don't pretend to have the strongest fleet out there, but I am definitely not the weakest.
I tried everything. Among other things - A strong protector fleet, a mixed fleet, lvl2 paintcoats - especially defensive ones, etc., etc.
Each of these things marginally improves my position but I don't come close to the top damage dealers. Not by a long shot.
Besides, it seemed strange that nobody has mentioned in this thread that since last time Primus Invasion has become much more difficult. The enemies have become much stronger and it is more difficult now without using credits.
My best position before last week was 137 in damage with 2.4B and 246 in kill board with 618 ships. This with lvl2 paintcoats for DEF, SDEF and HP. No powerup and 3 paid teleports in addition to the 3 free.
I understand that if you let out all the secrets not everybody can be no. 1 and the competition will be fierce, but this is ridiculous.
It can't be that with my fleet I am doing only 2.4B damage and 618 kills while I only got killed by Primus class ships while the top did 173B in damage with 24400 kills.
Please let know some tricks. I would settle for being top 40 in damage, to at least get those 1M tech points.
    The difference is too big

It is impossible to defeat the primus on your own.... this is a team oriented event.... however you can time perfectly the moment when you will attack so that you may better your chances of being the last person to fight the primus and win. I suggest focusing on doing the most damage possible in order to recieve a free r6 nuke. Watch high ranking players and copy their fleets in order to better understand the new event. Remember this is different then plain old primus so don't treat it the same.

At the moment there is too much uncertainty about the mechanisms of Primus Invasion. High kill count or taking Primus hits without dying needs to be clarified before writing a comprehensive guide.

I tried similar and although getting two Nukes, R-5 and R-6, every Primus Invasion I took part the results are so random that I can not say at the moment what really helps or not.

It is difficult to measure that I think. When more players try to get high escort kill counts it seems normal that the individual fraction is smaller.

I think threads like this will help to discover the secrets of Primus Invasion over time but it seems a a reasonable part of the way is still to go.

I think we gathered that there are still a lot of unknowns for Primus Invasion, esp the way damage is calculated with escort fleets that seem to baffle everyone with some getting ridiculous kill counts etc.

Hence the purpose of this thread to gather all your questions which we would work hard to trial, and also hopefully in the process gather everyone's head to form a clearer picture of Primus Invasion in terms of damage, sequence of fleets coming out etc.

From personal experience I can say that the order in which you arrive to a planet is important.
Usually, because I don't play in the night session and only play in the day session, I arrive to a planet with already >1000 players. Thus in the first 1-2 waves I usually only kill 6-8 ships.
In the next waves when I teleport to a planet where there are tens or hundreds or players I kill many more ships. So it seems from this experience that the order in which you get to kill ships is the order of arrival.

@Nachteule - I can say objectively and not subjectively that last week the level of difficulty went up considerably and the enemies are much stronger. There are many more enemies with Primus special that kills all your ships in one shot, especially for the destroyer-type escorts.
The player that is usually in the top 3 - qw3r72, is a member of my alliance. He has the same observation. He said that now he has to spend many more credits to achieve the same place. Before he wouldn't even use power-up and now he must.
My fleet with lvl2 coats for DEF, SDEF and HP would usually end up around 130-150 place in damage and 250-300 place on the kill board. Last week with the same fleet I was 419 in damage and 1092 on the kill board. Much more difficult.
Also, before last week, I would almost never die in a wave of only escort ships, without the big Primus ships. Last week I died in every wave.
Moreover, I don't find the result to be too random. There is some fluctuation in the results because they are cumulative from both sessions and sometimes people play both or only one of them, but I end pretty much in the same places, except for last week.
